Apple fertilization is different for young plantations from fertilization of mature plantations. Determining the amount of individual plant nutrients is determined according to the results of chemical analysis of the soil and the recommendation for fertilization given by the authorized laboratory.

Fertilization example:
- In March, fertilize with 40 g/tree of urea.
- In April, feed with 33 to 40 g/tree of urea.
- In May, feed with 30 g/tree of KAN.
Necessary amounts of nutrients until birth:
- Nitrogen (N) = 30 kg/ha
- Phosphorus (P2O5) = 20 kg/ha
- Potassium (K2O) = 50 kg/ha
Fertilization for medium-high yields:
- 80 kg/ha dušika (N), 80 kg/ha of nitrogen (N),
- 35 to 70 kg/ha of phosphorus (P2O5),
- 150 kg/ha of potassium (K2O).
Fertilization example:
- Feed at the end of winter with 500 kg/ha NPK 5-20-30 S.
- Fertilize with 90 kg/ha of urea in March.
- In May, fertilize with 50 kg/ha of KAN.
Foliar feeding:
Before flowering (buds in the stage of mouse ears): with a 0.5% solution of foliar fertilizer containing boron (B), if necessary and later if symptoms of boron deficiency (B) appear
or
After flowering. with a 1% solution of foliar fertilizer + twice during the growing season with a 1 to 1.5% solution of foliar fertilizer containing calcium (Ca). The first treatment should be done 6 weeks after flowering, and at least 4 treatments should be done during the growing season.
Fertilization for high yields:
- Basic fertilization after harvest with 300 kg/ha (0.75 kg/tree) NPK 6-18-36.
- In early spring at the first treatment with 150 kg/ha (0.4 kg/tree) urea 46% N.
- In May with 150 kg/ha (0.4 kg/tree) of KAN 27% N.
Foliar feeding:
Before flowering (bud in mouse ears stage). with a 0.5% solution of foliar fertilizer containing boron (B), if necessary and later if symptoms of boron deficiency (B) appear
or
After flowering. With a 1% solution of foliar fertilizer for orchards + twice during the growing season with a 1 to 1.5% solution of foliar fertilizer containing calcium (Ca). The first treatment should be done 6 weeks after flowering, and at least 4 treatments should be done during the growing season.
