If a later sowing is planned (for autumn consumption and storage), spring soil preparation is also possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soil preparation for parsley depends on the preceding crop and involves shallow summer plowing after crops that vacate the soil early, followed by autumn plowing, or one deep autumn plowing after preceding crops that leave the soil during autumn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supplementary tillage should ensure a loose surface layer for uniform seed germination. Simultaneous germination ensures uniform growth of all plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fertilization of Parsley<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mineral fertilization of parsley is based on soil analysis and the planned yield. Generally, before sowing, 800 kg\/ha of NPK 7-20-30 + Fe + Zn is added, along with 200 kg\/ha of Urea 46% N.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leaf parsley has a higher nitrogen requirement because its leaves are harvested 2-3 times during the growing season. After each harvest, new leaves develop, which require sufficient nitrogen for optimal quantity and quality.
